Job Description: Our Client, a renowned veterinary clinic, is seeking a dedicated Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Nurse to join their team. As a member of their ECC team, you’ll play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients in need.
This clinic is a short drive from Barnstable
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct emergency triage, gather health histories, and document interactions using EMRs
- Assist in stabilising critically ill patients upon arrival at the ER
- Utilise technical skills for medical care including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and diagnostic imaging
- Collaborate with emergency clinicians throughout procedures, from induction to recovery
Required Experience Qualifications:
- Two years of veterinary emergency experience
- Experience in anaesthesia and monitoring of emergency procedures
