Job Details: Our client presents an exciting opportunity for a General Practice small animal Vet to join their welcoming team on a permanent basis. This role is stationed at their bustling first opinion and referral hospital, where you’ll collaborate with our exceptional team of certificate holders across various disciplines. Your responsibilities will encompass consultations, surgeries, hospital and inpatient care, as well as emergency and out-of-hours services, alongside typical first opinion duties. The role will be tailored to match the experience level of the successful candidate.

Their vets typically operate between 8 am and 6:30 pm, with most opting for a 40-hour week over 4 days. However, they are open to discussing various working patterns, understanding the significance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Weekend coverage follows a 1:4 rotation, including out-of-hours duties on a rotational basis with their night and twilight team. The successful applicant would be expected to work 2 bank holidays annually at the main hospital, with compensatory time off provided for these shifts.
