Located in the verdant West Midlands, Our client is a long-standing small veterinary practice, conveniently situated just a 15-minute drive from Birmingham City Centre.
This well-appointed practice boasts state-of-the-art diagnostic and surgical equipment, including an ultrasound scanner, digital X-ray capabilities, and a dedicated dental machine. Additionally, the practice benefits from the presence of an experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon, proficient in handling complex orthopedic procedures and fracture repairs.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing outstanding clinical care to patients during consultations and procedures.
- Offering exceptional care to clients by providing clear updates on patient status.
- Maintaining professional excellence by adhering to the highest standards of regulatory, practice, and operational compliance.
- Crafting tailored, accurate treatment and care plans for each patient, along with clear cost estimates.
- Engaging, mentoring, and developing team members to enhance their skills and utilize them effectively.
- Ensuring smooth clinical handover and arranging transfer of patients requiring out-of-hours or enhanced care.
- Actively promoting and sharing clinical best practices within practices.
Our client is seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Veterinary Surgeon registered with the RCVS.
- Experienced in delivering exceptional care to both patients and clients.
- Proficient in working effectively as part of a team.
- Demonstrated clinical leadership skills.
- Experience in fostering a progressive clinical culture.
- Experience in supporting nurse consults and schedule 3 procedures, understanding their contribution to clinic performance and efficiency.
- Skilled in using coaching and influencing techniques to bring out the best in colleagues.
