Job Description: Our Client is seeking a Head Registered Nurse to join their team.

The role is located 10 minutes North of Long Sutton

This role offers the chance to develop nursing clinics and implement new ideas with initiative. You will receive support from a dedicated team of nurses and support staff, as well as a committed reception team.

This is a full-time permanent position, covering 40 hours per week over five days. There is also the option for a four-day week if preferred. Additionally, you will be part of a weekend rota, covering 1:3 Saturday mornings, with compensatory time provided the following week.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing clinical leadership to the nursing team.
  • Consistently deliver exceptional care to clients.
  • Supporting surgeries and procedures, handling all pre and post-procedure activities.
  • Leading, managed and promoted nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 surgeries.
  • Monitoring and care for patients.
  • Managing admissions and discharges as directed by the team.
  • Facilitating patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care.
  • Dispensing and verifying medication.
  • Upholding professional excellence by implementing and complying with all regulatory, practice, and operational standards.
  • Inspiring the team by sharing new or evolving practice standards and process changes.
  • Engaging, coaching, and developing the team.
  • Proactively support and disseminate clinical best practices across practices and the broader community.

Our client is seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • RCVS Registered Nurse.
  • Experience delivering exceptional patient and client care.
  • Able to confidently lead a clinical team.
  • Experience implementing a progressive clinical culture through nurse clinics and consultations.
  • Proficient in using coaching and influencing skills to maximise colleague performance.
