Full Description: Our Client is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team at their well-established 24-hour Hospital.
Your daily responsibilities will encompass a range of nursing duties, along with assisting in clinical coaching within the practice. You’ll receive full support as you collaborate closely with the experienced team.
This is a full-time position, comprising 40 hours per week, which includes working 1 in 6 full weekends, a bank holiday every 18 months, and 1 week of being second on call.
At the hospital, The client has advanced diagnostic equipment, including a multi-parameter monitor, CT scanner, endoscope, and laparoscopic kit.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Consistently deliver exceptional care to clients.
- Supporting surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post-procedure activities.
- Conducting nurse-led appointments and Schedule 3 activities.
- Delivering patient monitoring and care.
- Managing admissions and discharges as directed by the team.
- Completing patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care.
- Dispensing and verifying medication.
- Ensuring professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice, and operational standards.
- Conducting briefings to engage and coordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice.
Our client is seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- RCVS Registered Nurse.
- Experience delivering exceptional patient and client care.
- Proficient in working effectively as part of a team.
- Experience supporting Nurse consults, and understanding their contribution to practice performance and efficiency.
- Skilled in using coaching and influencing skills to maximise colleague performance.
