Job Details: Would you be interested in joining a practice where you will be supported by a team of lead Veterinarians and an experienced Nursing team? Our client are seeking a small animal veterinarian to join them.
- Small animal only, predominantly based at the main surgery
- Full time position but in an attractive 4 day week, with an extra day off following a rostered weekend
- Shared afterhours with 1 night a week and 1 weekend in 6 on call
- Support always from experienced vets and a strong nursing team in a well equipped clinic
They are a well known and long established vet surgery that is well respected in the community. Our client have a team of 6 vets with a mixture of experienced and recent graduates. The senior vets hold an ANZCVS membership in surgery and a post grad qualification in Emergency and Critical Care and pride themselves on working collaboratively, being approachable and love discussing cases.
The ideal candidate:
- A vet who enjoys the challenge of general practice; comfortable going from vaccinations to working up of more complex cases, to routine surgery
- Experienced vet or motivated new graduates are welcome to apply
- Excellent communication skills with both clients and colleagues and willingness to work as part of a team
- Positive “can-do” attitude who offers excellent patient care and client experience
