Type of Work: Small Animal Vet Surgeon, Permanent, Part-Time

Job Details:

Due to business growth our client are keen to add another small animal Vet to their Team! They welcome applications from candidates that have at least 2 years’ experience for this part time role. Ideally days of work would be Monday, Tuesdays and Fridays, plus a rolling roster of 1:5 weekends, with two days in lieu in the following week. Weekend hours are 8.30-4.30pm Saturdays and 10am to 4pm Sundays.
Their purpose built Clinic has a separate sterile surgery, laboratory, imaging room, office space and meeting rooms. They have a skilled and dedicated team, currently 4 Vets & an experience team of nurses who are very hands on with support to the Veterinary Team to ensure quality patient care.

You will have the benefit of using Smartflow technology, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, endoscopy, extensive orthopaedic equipment, including orthomed locking plating kit, ossability TTA kit, extensive orthopaedic equipment, and support to grow skills in this area. They have a generous CPD budget and invest in their team to develop their skills further. Their case load is interesting and diverse with plenty of emergency medicine and surgery from a mix of urban and rural clients. Having an interest in working dogs and orthopaedics would be an advantage. They utilise a local after-hours clinic for after-hours care, so no routine on call is required.
