Job Details: Our clients mixed veterinary practice with four locations across Cork is currently seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team. While the role will primarily focus on small animals, there may be the option to engage in a small amount of farm work if desired.
You will be joining a bustling facility which is fully equipped with advanced features, including an in-house laboratory with state-of-the-art Imagyst Biochemistry and Haematology blood analysers. They also provide in-house Digital and Dental radiography services, Ultrasound, and more. Additionally, one of their other branch is undergoing upgrades to transform into a fully equipped hospital.
Their dedicated team is committed to delivering excellent patient care, and they take pride in their loyal client base. Many team members are actively pursuing certificates to enhance their skills in their respective fields.
The Role:
- Full-time, permanent position with 38 hours per week (5 days per week at 40 hours also available if preferred).
- Day-to-day responsibilities include reception work, basic surgical preparation, surgery monitoring, in-patient care, cleaning, assisting vets during consultations, stock monitoring and billing, and optional involvement with the large farm client base.
Criteria: They are looking for a Veterinary Nurse who is registered with the Veterinary Council of Ireland (VCI) and is eligible to work in Ireland.
