Job Details: Clinical Lead Vet Surgeon opportunity available in Armidale! Our client take pride in delivering a high standard of professional treatment and care for both patients and owners in a personalised and relaxed environment. Their caseload is exceptionally diverse and interesting, covering approximately 70% small animals (including companion animals, pocket pets, birds, and wildlife) and 30% large animals, encompassing pleasure and competition horses, sheep, goats, alpacas, and even the occasional camel. Currently, they operate with a 6-vet team, sharing on-call duties with another clinic whenever possible.
The ideal candidate for this position should possess:
- 5+ years of experience in companion or mixed practice
- Proficient in strong surgical skills and routine General Practice (GP) medicine
- Demonstrated experience in leading a team, with a proven track record of mentoring
- Leads by example and embodies a positive “can-do” approach
