Job Description: Our client is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join a newly refurbished small animal practice located in Sidcup, South East London. Working alongside an experienced Lead Vet, Head Veterinary Nurse and a skilled support team, the successful candidate will contribute to delivering exceptional care while building long-term relationships with clients in the local community.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing consultations and performing comprehensive clinical examinations for patients
- Carrying out routine surgical procedures and supporting medical case management
- Discussing treatment options, preventative healthcare and follow-up care with clients
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Working closely with veterinary nurses and support staff to coordinate patient care
- Participating in the practice rota including occasional weekend coverage where required
