Job Description: Our client is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join a newly refurbished small animal practice located in Sidcup, South East London. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work within a welcoming and collaborative team that prioritises high standards of patient care and professional development.

The clinic provides modern facilities and a supportive environment where veterinarians can confidently manage a variety of medical and surgical cases. Working alongside an experienced Lead Vet, Head Veterinary Nurse and a skilled support team, the successful candidate will contribute to delivering exceptional care while building long-term relationships with clients in the local community.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing consultations and performing comprehensive clinical examinations for patients  
  • Carrying out routine surgical procedures and supporting medical case management  
  • Discussing treatment options, preventative healthcare and follow-up care with clients  
  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and patient records  
  • Working closely with veterinary nurses and support staff to coordinate patient care  
  • Participating in the practice rota including occasional weekend coverage where required
