Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their well-established, multi-branch first opinion practice based in Stow-on-the-Wold. This role offers excellent flexibility with part-time options and varied caseload exposure across consultations, surgery, and branch work in a supportive and collaborative environment. 

This position is ideal for an experienced veterinarian looking for flexible working patterns while maintaining exposure to a diverse caseload. You will work within a large, experienced team across a modern, well-equipped main site and several nearby branch practices, allowing you to develop your clinical skills while enjoying strong team support. 

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing consultations and preventative care for companion animals  
  • Managing medical cases and performing diagnostic investigations  
  • Carrying out routine and emergency surgical procedures  
  • Supporting inpatient care and case workups  
  • Working across main site and branch practices as required  
  • Collaborating with veterinary nurses and support staff  
  • Building strong client relationships and delivering excellent patient care  

Qualifications Needed:

  • Veterinary degree eligible for registration in England  
  • Minimum of 2 years’ small animal practice experience preferred  
  • Strong clinical and surgical skills  
  • Confidence managing a varied caseload  
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities  

Package:

  • Flexible part-time options (1–2 days per week, mornings only, or Saturday-only roles)
