Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their well-established, multi-branch first opinion practice based in Stow-on-the-Wold. This role offers excellent flexibility with part-time options and varied caseload exposure across consultations, surgery, and branch work in a supportive and collaborative environment.
This position is ideal for an experienced veterinarian looking for flexible working patterns while maintaining exposure to a diverse caseload. You will work within a large, experienced team across a modern, well-equipped main site and several nearby branch practices, allowing you to develop your clinical skills while enjoying strong team support.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing consultations and preventative care for companion animals
- Managing medical cases and performing diagnostic investigations
- Carrying out routine and emergency surgical procedures
- Supporting inpatient care and case workups
- Working across main site and branch practices as required
- Collaborating with veterinary nurses and support staff
- Building strong client relationships and delivering excellent patient care
Qualifications Needed:
- Veterinary degree eligible for registration in England
- Minimum of 2 years’ small animal practice experience preferred
- Strong clinical and surgical skills
- Confidence managing a varied caseload
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
