Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Veterinarian to join a well-established and highly regarded companion animal clinic in Tamborine Mountain, Queensland. This full-time or part-time opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys a varied caseload, flexible rostering, modern facilities, and a friendly team environment close to both the Gold Coast and Brisbane.
The role is based exclusively at the Tamborine Mountain clinic and offers a mix of consultations and surgery across a loyal client base. With IDEXX in-house laboratory equipment, dental radiography, ultrasound, Ezyvet, experienced veterinarians, nurses, and client care staff, this position provides a strong setting for a clinician who values teamwork, knowledge-sharing, and high-quality patient outcomes.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing small animal consultations, diagnostics, treatment planning, and preventative care
- Performing surgery and supporting dental procedures where appropriate
- Using in-house laboratory equipment, dental radiography, ultrasound, and clinical software to support care
- Building strong relationships with clients through clear communication and compassionate service
- Working collaboratively with veterinarians, nurses, and client care staff in a busy clinic environment
Qualifications Needed:
- Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent qualification recognised in Australia
- Minimum one year of experience across consultations, surgery, or both
- Strong communication skills with clients, colleagues, and support teams
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage competing clinical demands
- Sound judgement, time management, and a collaborative approach to patient care
