Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Veterinarian to join a purpose-built companion animal hospital in Narellan, New South Wales. This part-time opportunity is ideal for an experienced veterinarian who enjoys flexible hours, strong clinical support, modern facilities, and working within a fun, enthusiastic team environment.
The role offers 38 to 48 hours per fortnight with some Saturday shifts required, supporting a healthy work-life balance while still providing exposure to a broad small animal caseload. The hospital provides medical and surgical services, visiting surgical support, IDEXX in-house pathology, digital radiology, dental radiology, grooming, cat boarding, and puppy preschool, creating a varied and rewarding clinical setting.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing small animal consultations, diagnostics, preventative care, and treatment planning
- Supporting surgical cases and developing clinical confidence across general practice work
- Using in-house pathology, digital radiology, and dental radiology to support patient care
- Building strong client relationships through clear communication and compassionate service
- Working collaboratively with the wider hospital team to maintain high care standards
