Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Veterinarian to join a well-established and community-loved clinic in Gladstone, Queensland. The role offers a mix of routine surgery, medical cases, dental procedures, and preventative care within a spacious, well-equipped clinic. With in-house blood testing, AI-assisted clinical note recording, radiography, ultrasound, microscopy, two large consulting rooms, a dedicated surgical theatre, treatment space, and upcoming dental X-ray and IM3 dental equipment, this position provides an excellent environment for a vet seeking growth and greater responsibility.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing small animal consultations, diagnostics, treatment planning, and preventative healthcare
- Performing routine surgeries, dental procedures, and medical case workups
- Supporting care for selected exotic pets such as birds and lizards where appropriate
- Building strong client relationships through clear communication and compassionate service
- Contributing to a friendly, collaborative clinic culture and high-quality patient outcomes
