Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Veterinarian to join a well-equipped companion animal clinic in Booragoon, Western Australia. This part-time opportunity is ideal for a confident veterinarian who enjoys independent clinical work, flexible hours, strong client relationships, and a supportive team environment close to Perth CBD.
The role offers two 10-hour days per week in a sole charge capacity, with the option to add a Saturday morning shift. You will work within a small animal clinic operating Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings, supported by a team committed to personalised care, professional development, and high-quality patient outcomes.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing small animal consultations, diagnostics, treatment planning, and preventative care
- Performing routine surgery and supporting general practice procedures where appropriate
- Working independently during sole charge shifts with sound clinical judgement
- Communicating clearly with clients to build trust and support informed decisions
- Contributing to a positive, organised, and patient-focused clinic environment
Qualifications Needed:
- Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent qualification recognised in Australia
- Minimum two years of experience in a busy veterinary clinic
- Consultative and surgical skills preferred
- Ability to work independently during sole charge shifts
- Strong communication, organisation, and time-management skills
