Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, progressive first opinion practice in Whitstable. This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative team, delivering high-quality veterinary care using modern equipment and facilities.

This position is ideal for an experienced veterinarian who is confident managing a varied caseload and enjoys working in a positive, community-focused environment. You will be supported by an ECC-qualified Head Vet and a skilled team, allowing you to develop your clinical skills while maintaining a strong work-life balance.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing consultations and preventative care for companion animals  
  • Managing medical cases and performing diagnostic workups  
  • Carrying out routine and advanced surgical procedures  
  • Collaborating with veterinary nurses and support staff  
  • Building strong client relationships and delivering excellent patient care  

Qualifications Needed:

  • Veterinary degree eligible for registration in England  
  • Experience in small animal practice preferred  
  • Strong clinical and surgical skills  
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities  
  • Commitment to delivering high standards of patient and client care  

Package:

  • Salary up to £50,000 FTE depending on experience  
  • Full-time position (40 hours per week)  
  • Modern, well-equipped practice including ultrasound, endoscopy, dental suite, and digital X-ray
