Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Vet Surgeon for a varied position combining first-opinion practice with exposure to a busy 24-hour hospital environment. The successful candidate will handle consultations, routine surgery and dentistry while benefiting from advanced clinical support in orthopaedics, internal medicine, cardiology and surgery. Access to CT, endoscopy, digital and dental radiography, alongside nearby MRI capability, provides excellent scope for thorough case investigation and continued skill development.
This role is predominantly supported but includes some sole-charge responsibility, making it ideal for a confident clinician who enjoys autonomy while having experienced colleagues available for more complex cases. Full-time and part-time options are welcomed, including schedules around 30 hours per week, with a shared Bank Holiday on-call rota and opportunities to broaden clinical interests through a genuinely diverse caseload.
This position is split between Watford and Borehamwood.
