The practice itself has the equipment you’d expect from a modern well established practice, as well as a Cryopen for Cryotherapy.
Growing all the time and seeing a variety of interesting surgical and medical cases, our clients are now looking for a forward-thinking vet to join their existing team of 11 colleagues of 2 Veterinary Surgeons, 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse and 3 Client Care Advisors.
Our clients take mental health very seriously and it is always at the forefront of their minds, with several members of the team being Mental Health First Aid advocates. The practice also operates a zero-tolerance behavioural policy to safeguard our appreciated and hard-working team.
Our client understand how important work life balance is so we offer this role with a flexible rota if desired, as well as 20-minute vet consults with the last appointment at 6.30pm to make sure we leave on time at the end of the day. Admin time is built into the diary, along with a protected lunch break and our Client Care Advisors and RVNs are all trained to divert any true emergencies to our OOH provider after 6pm.
Ideally, our client are looking for a full-time colleague to join us but will consider 30+ hours a week and can be flexible with shift patterns with some of our team currently doing 9am-7pm 4 days a week and others doing a mixture of 9am-5pm/11am-7pm. We currently have a 1 in 3 Saturday rota and we are closed on Sunday’s.
In return for working in a great practice with loyal clients and supportive colleagues, our client are looking for an experienced team player, who will be enthusiastic and self-motivated and someone willing and able to work sole charge, with great communication, general surgical and medical skill.
