Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Vet Surgeon with at least three years of post-graduate experience and a strong interest in internal medicine. This full-time opportunity is particularly well suited to a clinician who enjoys detailed medical work-ups, second-opinion cases and diagnostic imaging, with enhanced ultrasonography skills highly desirable.
The successful candidate will join a busy three-vet setting with a substantial medical caseload and access to a MyLab Fox ultrasound system, dental radiography, comprehensive dental equipment and modern laboratory and monitoring technology. The position includes consulting alongside more complex medical investigations, with cases requiring enhanced care transferred to a nearby 24-hour hospital. The rota is based on 40 hours across four days, with shared weekend, Bank Holiday and limited on-call duties.
Qualifications Needed:
- Qualified MRCVS with at least three years of post-graduate experience
- Strong interest or experience in internal medicine
- Enhanced ultrasonography skills highly desirable
- Confident managing consultations, medical work-ups and second-opinion cases
- Collaborative approach with a commitment to high clinical standards
Package:
