Job Description: Our client is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-equipped companion animal practice located in Streatham, South London. This full-time role offers the chance to work within a supportive clinical team while providing high-quality veterinary care to a loyal local client base.

The practice is designed to support efficient case management and includes facilities such as ultrasound, dental radiography, an in-house laboratory and a dedicated surgical theatre. Working alongside experienced colleagues, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage a variety of medical and surgical cases while contributing to the continued growth of the clinic.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing consultations and clinical examinations for small animal patients  
  • Performing routine surgical procedures and overseeing perioperative care 
  • Communicating clearly with clients regarding treatment options and preventative care  
  • Maintaining thorough and accurate patient medical records  
  • Working closely with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure smooth daily operations  
  • Taking part in a weekend rota within the wider hospital network
