Job Details: Our client in Somerset are looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their small animal team. They believe in using advanced treatment methods but with traditional values of great customer service, professionalism, and community spirit. You will have a mix of consults and surgery and will be supported by their team of experienced Vets and Nurses. Certificate qualifications are encouraged and funded. They care for all small animals, equine, wildlife, and exotics.
This is ideally a full-time role, working a four or five day week between 8.30am and 6.30pm however they are incredibly flexible and happy to work around bespoke hours and consider various part time options. They are flexible on rota and would be keen to discuss the ideal rota for you. There are no OOH and they are closed on Saturday afternoons, Sundays, and Bank Holidays. Saturday Morning will be required on a 1 in 4 rota, giving you access to an emergency caseload too. Their practice is situated in the beautiful countryside.
Our client have a very well-equipped practice with DR X-ray, a brand-new, high-quality ultrasound, IDEXX blood machines, Vetair Mobile dental Unit with scaler, Multiparameter unit, Tonometry, Laser, Orthopaedic kit and much more. You will see a variation of routine, preventative, and more advanced cases during your working week
