Job Description: Our client is seeking a confident and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join an established small animal team with a varied first-opinion caseload. Ideally suited to a clinician with at least two years of experience, the position offers a balance of consultations, medical investigations and routine surgery, alongside opportunities to develop individual clinical interests.
The working pattern can be adapted around either full-time or part-time preferences, with school-hour arrangements also open for discussion. There are no out-of-hours duties, while weekend cover consists of 1-in-3 Saturdays from 9am to 6pm. The clinical setting provides digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house laboratory facilities and a varied surgical caseload that includes orthopaedic procedures.
Qualifications Needed:
- Qualified Veterinary Surgeon eligible for RCVS registration
- At least two years of small animal clinical experience preferred
- Confidence managing routine surgical procedures and medical work-ups
- Strong interpersonal skills with an approachable manner toward clients
- Adaptable team-focused attitude with a commitment to high standards of animal care
