Job Description: Our client is recruiting a part-time small animal vet to join their friendly 24-hour hospital team. You’ll be part of a committed group of clinicians and nurses, offering high-quality first opinion and emergency care. Located in a scenic city close to the Peak District, this is ideal for vets who enjoy both clinical challenge and a relaxed lifestyle.
The successful candidate will be MRCVS registered and confident working in a hospital environment. You should be flexible, reliable, and capable of working independently when on-call, including triaging and managing overnight or emergency cases. This role includes two to three weekday shifts and participation in an on-call rota from home. You’ll handle inpatient management, emergency cases, and routine procedures, collaborating with a large support team and visiting specialists in ortho and cardiology.
