Small Animal Vet Surgeon Job, Rugby, Warwickshire, England

Small Animal Vet Surgeon Job, Rugby, Warwickshire, England

Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a fast-growing hospital setting with excellent scope for clinical progression, leadership input, and future partnership opportunities. This role would suit a forward-thinking vet who enjoys high-quality GP work, varied cases, and the chance to help shape clinical standards within a developing hospital environment.

The position offers access to advanced facilities, including CT, DR X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, laparoscopy, and an in-house laboratory. With a strong clinical and nursing team already in place, this is an ideal opportunity for a vet who wants to develop a certificate interest, contribute ideas, and take on a more influential role as the hospital continues to grow.

Qualifications Needed:

  • RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon with a strong small animal GP background
  • Certificate holder, working towards a certificate, or keen to begin one
  • Confident managing medical and surgical cases independently
  • Able to support junior colleagues where needed
  • Enthusiastic about clinical leadership, high standards, and team collaboration

Package:

  • Flexible working patterns with full-time, part-time, and bespoke rotas considered
  • No out-of-hours required for day roles
  • Profit share scheme recognising contribution to hospital growth
  • Fully funded certificate support with dedicated CPD budgets
  • Starting holiday allowance of 28 days
  • Additional paid day off for your birthday
  • RCVS, VDS, BVA, and relevant membership fees covered
  • Dedicated lunch breaks and generous consultation times
  • Clear progression routes into leadership or advanced clinical work
  • Opportunity to have input into protocols and patient care pathways
