Job Description: Our client is seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join a high-performing specialty and emergency hospital in the Round Rock area. This role is suitable for board-certified surgeons or veterinarians whose practice focuses on small animal surgery, providing an opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team of specialists in a collaborative and supportive environment.

The position allows clinicians to refine advanced surgical techniques while contributing to comprehensive patient care plans across specialties including emergency medicine, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, and rehabilitation. In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing advanced surgical procedures for small animal patients  
  • Collaborating with specialty and emergency teams to ensure optimal outcomes  
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to colleagues within the surgical service  
  • Ensuring accurate pre- and post-operative documentation  
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and case reviews  

Qualifications Needed:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent  
  • Board-certified or practice limited to small animal surgery  
  • Strong surgical skills and clinical decision-making ability
