Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Vet Surgeon to join a well-established and community-focused practice on a fixed-term basis. This opportunity offers flexibility in working hours and the option to focus on a full clinical role or consultations only, depending on your preference. The role provides exposure to a varied caseload within a supportive and friendly team environment.
This position is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys working collaboratively while continuing to develop clinical skills. In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing consultations and providing appropriate treatment plans
- Carrying out surgical procedures and diagnostic investigations
- Working closely with the team to support patient care and workflow
- Communicating clearly with clients to build trust and confidence
- Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment
Qualifications Needed:
- RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon or eligible to register
- Experience in small animal general practice preferred
- Confidence in both medical and surgical case management
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Interest in ongoing professional development
