Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Vet Surgeon to join a well-established and community-focused practice on a fixed-term basis. This opportunity offers flexibility in working hours and the option to focus on a full clinical role or consultations only, depending on your preference. The role provides exposure to a varied caseload within a supportive and friendly team environment.

This position is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys working collaboratively while continuing to develop clinical skills. With access to modern diagnostic equipment and a strong support network, you will be able to manage cases effectively while maintaining a high standard of care and building lasting relationships with clients.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing consultations and providing appropriate treatment plans
  • Carrying out surgical procedures and diagnostic investigations
  • Working closely with the team to support patient care and workflow
  • Communicating clearly with clients to build trust and confidence
  • Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment

Qualifications Needed:

  • RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon or eligible to register
  • Experience in small animal general practice preferred
  • Confidence in both medical and surgical case management
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Interest in ongoing professional development
