The role includes mentoring the vet team and collaborating closely with the Practice Principal on the practice’s management, organisational, and financial performance. This position is typically full-time over 5 days per week, with a combination of early shifts (8 am – 4:30 pm) and late shifts (11 am – 7:30 pm), and 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, with no out-of-hours (OOH) duties. Understanding that everyone has demands and priorities outside of their career, offering flexible working hours, whether it’s condensed working days, hours around rush hour, or school runs. Both full-time and part-time applicants are welcome.
Their practice has an established client base, and the team is passionate about providing gold-standard care to clients and their pets. Conveniently located just off the M20 and easily commutable from London (under 1 hour), the practice is large and airy with 4 consult rooms, separate patient wards, a dedicated X-ray and ultrasound room, a large modern theatre, and a prep room. The 4-vet practice is supported by a team consisting of 4 RVNs, 1 SVN, 1 ANA, and a highly efficient team of receptionists. The clinically trained Practice Principal has over 14 years of experience in the small animal sector and is dedicated to helping team members achieve both personal and professional development without compromise.
The ideal candidate will have considerable post-graduate experience in Small Animal First Opinion Veterinary Medicine and either hold, be working towards, or consider a postgraduate qualification in the relevant subject field.
