Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Vet Surgeon to join a friendly, fully small animal practice with a varied general practice caseload. This role offers a balanced mix of consultations, surgery, and occasional sole-charge work, with the support of an experienced clinical and reception team.
This full-time position would suit a confident general practitioner who values clinical freedom, steady teamwork, and a genuinely supportive working environment. The rota offers a strong work-life balance, with no out-of-hours, no bank holiday work, and a manageable Saturday rota.
Qualifications Needed:
- RCVS registration is required
- Confident general practice experience across consultations and surgery
- Comfortable handling occasional sole-charge shifts
- Friendly, team-focused approach with strong communication skills
- Interest in mentoring students and supporting a positive learning environment
Package:
- Full-time permanent role across 30–37 hours per week
- Four-day working week with 1:4 Saturday mornings
- No out-of-hours requirement
- No bank holiday shifts included
