Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Vet Surgeon to join a modern first-opinion practice, with full-time and part-time options available. This role would suit a confident vet with strong medical knowledge, good surgical capability, and a genuine interest in delivering thorough patient care.
The position involves a varied mix of primary care, inpatient care, medical workups, routine surgery, and emergency surgical cases. With no out-of-hours requirement, flexible rota options, and a supportive clinical setting, this is a strong opportunity for a vet looking for balance, autonomy, and continued development.
Qualifications Needed:
- RCVS registration or eligibility to register as a Veterinary Surgeon in the UK
- Ideally 2+ years of small animal clinical experience
- Confident with medical workups, inpatient care, and routine surgical cases
- Emergency surgery experience would be beneficial
- Strong communication skills with a client-focused and caring approach
