Job Description: Our client is seeking a motivated Small Animal Vet Surgeon to join a friendly daytime first-opinion team on a fixed-term contract. This role would suit a confident GP vet with experience across consultations and surgery, along with a caring approach to patient care and client communication.
The position offers a varied small animal caseload, including dogs, cats, and small mammals, with access to useful clinical facilities such as endoscopy and laparoscopic surgery. You will be part of an experienced team that values high standards, practical teamwork, and a calm, supportive working environment.
Qualifications Needed:
- RCVS registration or eligibility to register as a Veterinary Surgeon in the UK
- Small animal GP experience across consultations, surgery, and medical case management
- Confident clinical judgement with the ability to adapt to a varied first-opinion caseload
- A team-focused approach with strong communication and client care skills
- Comfortable contributing to high clinical standards within a busy daytime setting
Package:
- Fixed-term contract planned through to March 2027
- Full-time role across 40 hours per week
- Choice of 4 or 5 working days, with flexibility considered
