Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy and progressive small animal setting with a varied mix of medical and surgical cases. This role is ideal for a confident GP vet who is comfortable managing cases independently, communicating clearly with clients and contributing positively to a collaborative clinical environment.
The position is ideally full-time, with typical shifts running from 9am to 5pm and 11am to 7pm, although alternative working arrangements can be discussed. Consultations are scheduled at 20 minutes, with protected breaks, dedicated administrative time and no out-of-hours responsibilities. The rota includes 1-in-3 Saturdays from 9am to 5pm.
Qualifications Needed:
- Qualified Veterinary Surgeon eligible for RCVS registration
- Broad general practice experience across medicine and surgery
- Confidence undertaking sole-charge clinical work when required
- Strong communication skills with a calm and professional approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of an experienced veterinary team
