Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their hospital and practice team across Middlesbrough and Hartlepool. This role offers a varied caseload within a well-equipped hospital environment, with no out-of-hours requirements and strong clinical support.

This position is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys a mix of consulting, surgery, and inpatient care while working within a collaborative and supportive team. You will have access to modern facilities and a dedicated night team, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality patient care and developing your clinical interests.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing consultations and preventative care for companion animals  
  • Managing medical cases and performing diagnostic investigations  
  • Carrying out routine and advanced surgical procedures  
  • Supporting inpatient care and hospitalised patients  
  • Working across both hospital and branch practice as required  
  • Collaborating with veterinary nurses and support staff  
  • Building strong client relationships and delivering excellent patient care  

Qualifications Needed:

  • Veterinary degree eligible for registration in England  
  • Experience in small animal practice preferred  
  • Strong clinical and surgical skills  
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities  
  • Commitment to delivering high standards of patient and client care
