Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Vet Surgeon to join a friendly and expanding practice located on the Fylde coast. This role offers the opportunity to work within a close-knit and supportive team, delivering high-quality care across a varied caseload including companion animals and exotics. 

This position is ideal for veterinarians at any stage of their career, from new graduates to experienced clinicians, who are looking to be part of a collaborative environment. The practice provides excellent facilities and ongoing development opportunities, allowing you to build your clinical skills while maintaining a strong work-life balance. 

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing consultations and delivering preventative healthcare  
  • Handling medical cases and developing treatment plans  
  • Performing routine surgical procedures and assisting with complex cases  
  • Monitoring hospitalised patients and supporting daily case management  
  • Collaborating with the team to maintain high clinical standards  

Qualifications Needed:

  • Veterinary degree eligible for registration in the UK  
  • Interest or experience in small animal practice  
  • Confidence in consultations and routine surgery  
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills  
  • Interest in exotics work is beneficial but not essential
