Job Description: A leading specialty referral hospital is expanding its surgical team and is seeking a full-time Board-Certified or Residency-Trained Veterinary Surgeon to join its multidisciplinary environment. This position offers the opportunity to manage complex soft tissue and orthopedic cases while collaborating closely with Critical Care and Emergency services in a 24-hour facility.
The hospital is designed to support advanced surgical care and is equipped with Sound Digital Radiology, Storz Endoscopy, Samsung ultrasound systems, DRE Volumax Oxygen System, and ventilator-assisted oxygen therapy. In this role, you will:
- Lead and perform advanced surgical procedures (soft tissue and orthopedic)
- Consult on referred specialty cases and develop comprehensive surgical plans
- Partner with emergency and critical care teams to ensure continuity of care
- Utilize advanced imaging and diagnostic tools to support surgical outcomes
- Communicate treatment options and prognoses clearly with clients
- Maintain high standards of medical documentation and compliance
- Participate in continuing education, research initiatives, and peer collaboration
