Job Description: Our client is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and collaborative small animal setting offering an interesting and varied first-opinion caseload. The opportunity is particularly well suited to a clinician with at least 18 months of experience who is comfortable handling routine medical and surgical cases while building strong relationships with clients.
The position offers access to a purpose-built clinical environment equipped with digital and dental radiography, ultrasound, multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring, an in-house laboratory and physiotherapy-grade laser equipment. Both full-time and part-time arrangements can be considered, with the full-time rota structured across approximately 3.5 days and including a 1-in-3 Saturday commitment. There are no out-of-hours duties and sole charge requirements are minimal.
Qualifications Needed:
- A qualified Veterinary Surgeon eligible for RCVS registration
- Around 18 months of clinical experience is preferred
- Sound capability across routine small animal medicine and surgery
- Clear and compassionate communication skills when working with clients
- A collaborative approach combined with confidence working independently when required
