Job Description: Our client is seeking a confident and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join a long-established and respected small animal practice in the heart of the North East. This is an exciting time to join as the practice prepares to expand into a new, purpose-built facility, offering access to state-of-the-art equipment, including CT scanning. This is a great role for someone with at least three years of experience, looking to enjoy clinical freedom while being supported by a diverse team of certificate holders in areas such as surgery, imaging, and cardiology.
This full-time role is built around a 40-hour week with no out-of-hours commitment and just 1 in 4 Saturdays. The practice promotes great diary management, allowing vets to give quality time to clients, with 20-minute consults and protected time for admin and follow-ups. There is flexibility in role seniority, with opportunities to mentor junior colleagues or support the development of less experienced vets.
