The role offers access to multiple well-equipped small animal sites, experienced certificate holders, dedicated nursing support, and future purpose-built facilities with exciting plans for further diagnostic development. There is also scope for a more senior position for a vet interested in mentoring, supporting less experienced colleagues, and contributing to clinical progression within the team.

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working across a varied caseload with support from certificate holders and skilled nursing colleagues
  • Handling occasional sole charge duties with confidence and good clinical judgement
  • Supporting emergency and sick patient appointments within a well-managed daily diary
  • Mentoring less experienced colleagues where appropriate and contributing to a supportive team culture

Qualifications Needed:

  • RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon or eligibility to register
  • Confidence with routine consultations and small animal surgery
  • Ability to manage occasional sole charge responsibility
  • Strong communication skills with clients, colleagues, and support staff
  • Interest in mentoring or a senior clinical role would be welcomed

Package:

  • CPD allowance of £1,700 provided
  • RCVS membership and up to two additional memberships paid
  • VDS cover included
  • Enhanced company sick pay and annual pay reviews
  • Full-time role based on a 40-hour working week
  • Part-time applications considered for improved flexibility
  • 1 in 4 Saturday rota with no out-of-hours work
  • Salary dependent on experience and role level
  • 6.6 weeks paid holiday including bank holidays
  • Health support, discounted veterinary fees, cycle to work scheme, wellbeing focus, and career progression opportunities included
