Job Details: Our client is looking for a veterinary surgeon to help them continue to deliver the highest standard of care in their business. This position is for a full-time vet, but they are more than happy to discuss a part-time position. They are looking for a veterinary surgeon confident with all routine medical and surgical cases.
They have a generous CPD budget and fully support certificates for the vets and nurses. The full-time rota is 40h per week, in a 4 day/week pattern. They are open Saturdays (9am-12pm), shared 1 in 4 within the team. They are closed on Sundays and bank holidays.
Our client have a very well established and supportive team of 2.5 Veterinary surgeons (GpCert ophthalmology and medicine in the team) , 7 highly skilled Registered veterinary nurses, 1 SVN, 1 VCA, 7 very experienced receptionists.
They do some orthopaedics, a wide range of soft tissue surgery and are about to begin laparoscopic surgery. Their medicine caseload is diverse and they have a good quality ultrasound machine, digital XR and a new Idexx machine.
