Job Details: Our client is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.
They have an exciting opportunity available for two Veterinary Surgeons to join their dedicated team, either on a Full Time or a Part Time basis. They pride themselves on providing an excellent service to their clients and their pets and take care of a varied caseload.
You will have access to a varied case load with the opportunity to work cases up, with the support of experienced colleagues if required, ensuring that their high quality of client care is maintained. The working pattern allows a
good mix of consulting and surgical time. They can also provide you with the opportunity to pursue any specific interests.

Full time role work a 40-hour week (Monday – Saturday), opening between 8 am and 1 pm on Saturdays. They are very fortunate for being a Vets Now host practice. This means that all their in-patients are well cared for in their
own premisses by the Vets Now staff every night, as well as during the weekends and bank holidays, and therefore you will not need to worry about doing any OOH work.
They are a single site practice, and all their rooms are air-conditioned. They have access to several good referral centres although a lot of complex cases are managed at the clinic, including orthopaedics. The up-to-date facilities
include a dedicated operating theatre, 3 consulting rooms, large prep area, separate dog/cat wards, imaging/ dental area with digital X-ray facilities (standard and dental), MyLab 25 Gold E-SAOTE ultrasound scanner, extensive in-
house lab, ECG, and tonometer.
The friendly team is made up of 4.5 Veterinary Surgeons, 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse, 3 Receptionists and 2 Office Staff. CPD is encouraged and well supported with an excellent CPD budget and
additional staff benefits. They are a very friendly, close, and inclusive team that like to promote a supportive culture and discuss cases when necessary. They are very supportive of CPDs if you want to focus on a particular area of
care.
The ideal candidate will be a Veterinary Surgeon who has some post – qualification experience. You will be caring, enthusiastic and a team player, who has good communication skills. The clients are at the heart of everything you do, and you will gain job satisfaction from case continuity and bonding with clients.
