Job Description: Our client is seeking a confident Veterinary Surgeon with at least two years of small animal practice experience to join an established and supportive clinical team. The successful candidate will manage a varied first-opinion caseload and should be comfortable with routine surgical procedures, medical investigations and developing cases to a high clinical standard.
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, including just 1-in-4 Saturday mornings from 9am to 12pm. The working environment is purpose-built and well equipped for general practice, with digital radiography, ultrasound, ECG, dental equipment, an in-house laboratory, microscopy and comprehensive surgical facilities. Continued professional development is actively encouraged, with support available for clinicians interested in pursuing further qualifications.
Qualifications Needed:
- Qualified Veterinary Surgeon with at least two years of small animal practice experience
- Competence across routine surgery and general medical work-ups
- Confidence managing and developing a varied first-opinion caseload
- Strong communication skills with a commitment to excellent client care
- Enthusiasm for continued learning and professional development
