The successful candidate will work across Croydon and New Addington on a consistent rota, averaging approximately 36.7 hours per week, with flexibility to adjust working hours where appropriate. • Ability to coordinate effectively with nursing and support colleagues while maintaining high clinical standards

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing consultations and developing evidence-based treatment plans for small animal patients
  • Performing routine surgical and diagnostic procedures within individual clinical competence
  • Maintaining comprehensive patient records and prescribing medications in line with professional requirements
  • Overseeing daily consultation, surgical, and diagnostic workflows within the branch
  • Referring complex cases appropriately while ensuring continuity of patient care

Package:

  • Average working week of approximately 36.7 hours with scope for additional flexibility
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • 1-in-4 Saturday branch rota
  • 1-in-10 Sunday hospital rota
  • Approximately one to two bank holiday shifts each year
  • 6.6 weeks of annual leave including bank holidays
  • Annual CPD allowance of up to £2,000
  • Up to five paid CPD days each year
  • Private medical healthcare insurance
  • Ongoing clinical support for complex cases and professional development
