Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Vet Surgeon with at least one year of post-graduate experience to join a modern, supportive practice focused on high-quality patient care and continued clinical development. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian who wants to build confidence, broaden their skill set and benefit from guidance from an experienced Lead Vet.
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative environment equipped with up-to-date clinical technology and will manage a varied mix of consultations, medical cases and surgery. The role includes participation in a shared weekend and Bank Holiday rota, so flexibility around these commitments is required.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing consultations, treatment plans and routine surgical cases
- Providing clear communication and compassionate guidance to pet owners
- Working closely with the Lead Vet and wider clinical team
- Maintaining high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance
- Contributing to shared learning and ongoing clinical development
Qualifications Needed:
- Qualified MRCVS with at least one year of post-graduate experience
- Confidence managing a broad first-opinion caseload
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to continued clinical learning
- Flexibility to participate in weekend and Bank Holiday rotas
