Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Vet Surgeon to join an expanding companion animal team serving communities across County Cork. In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing companion animal consultations, diagnostics, treatment planning, and routine procedures
- Working closely with veterinary surgeons, nurses, animal care assistants, and support colleagues
- Supporting clients with clear communication and practical guidance around patient care
- Contributing to a positive clinic culture built around teamwork and shared clinical standards
Taking part in a rota structure while maintaining a balanced and supportive working environment
Qualifications Needed:
- Veterinary degree with eligibility for VCI registration
- Confidence handling small animal consultations and general practice caseloads
- Strong communication skills with clients, colleagues, and support staff
- Positive team approach with interest in continued clinical development
- Commitment to high-quality patient care and long-term client relationships
