Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Vet Surgeon to join a busy hospital setting on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The position is primarily focused on inpatient care, offering the opportunity to manage a varied and interesting caseload with access to advanced diagnostics, surgical equipment and experienced clinical colleagues.
This full-time role averages approximately 40 hours per week and combines daytime and twilight shifts. Some sole-charge responsibility is required, making previous small animal practice experience essential. The rota also includes weekend participation with time off in lieu, while the hospital environment provides strong scope for continued clinical development.
Qualifications Needed:
- MRCVS registration with previous small animal clinical experience
- Confidence managing hospitalised patients and working occasional sole charge
- Ability to maintain high clinical standards across a varied inpatient caseload
- Strong communication skills and a dependable team-focused approach
