Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Vet Surgeon to join a dedicated out-of-hours emergency service within a well-equipped hospital environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian who thrives in emergency and critical care, providing high-quality treatment and in-patient management during overnight shifts.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing emergency and critical care cases during overnight shifts
- Providing in-patient monitoring and ongoing treatment plans
- Performing diagnostic investigations and emergency procedures
- Working closely with the nursing team to ensure continuity of care
- Communicating effectively with clients and referring practices
Qualifications Needed:
- RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon or eligible to register
- Experience or strong interest in emergency and critical care
- Confidence in handling urgent and complex clinical cases
- Ability to work independently within a night setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
