Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Vet Surgeon to join a first-opinion setting where clinical ownership, client communication and consistently high standards of care are central to the role. The successful candidate will manage consultations, treatment planning and routine surgical work while contributing to safe, compliant and efficient day-to-day practice.
This opportunity would suit an MRCVS-qualified veterinarian who has completed VetGDP and already has previous clinical experience. The role offers scope to continue building confidence and broaden clinical capability through structured development, funded certificates and access to wider hospital-based learning opportunities.
Qualifications Needed:
- MRCVS registration with VetGDP successfully completed
- Previous experience working as a veterinary surgeon
- Confidence across routine consultations and general surgical work
- Strong client communication and treatment-planning skills
