Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Vet Surgeon to join a friendly and well-supported small animal team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role is available on either a full-time or part-time basis and offers a balanced mix of consulting and surgical work.
This position would suit a confident vet who has completed VetGDP and enjoys working within a collaborative clinical setting. The role offers flexibility to be based at one site or work across multiple branches, giving variety in caseload while maintaining a manageable rota and protected downtime.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out a mix of small animal consultations and routine surgery
- Managing cases with support from experienced clinical colleagues
- Working from one branch or across multiple sites depending on preference
- Contributing to high standards of patient care and client communication
- Balancing consulting and theatre time around clinical interests where possible
Qualifications Needed:
- RCVS registration is required
- VetGDP completion is essential
- Confident with routine small animal consulting and surgery
- Able to work well within a supportive and communicative team
- Suitable for an experienced vet rather than a new graduate

- 1:6 Saturday mornings with time off in lieu
- Option to work from a single branch or across multiple sites
- 6.6 weeks paid holiday including bank holidays, pro rata
