Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a welcoming clinical setting in a full-time position covering 36 hours across four weekdays. With no weekend or out-of-hours commitments, this opportunity offers an attractive schedule for a confident clinician who is comfortable managing medical cases, diagnostic investigations, inpatient care, and both routine and more advanced surgical procedures.
The position provides access to digital radiography, ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, dedicated surgical and dental facilities, and separate wards for dogs, cats, and exotic patients. There is also scope to develop individual clinical interests, support less experienced colleagues, and build strong continuity with clients while working alongside skilled veterinary surgeons, registered nurses, students, and support staff.
Package:
- 36-hour working week arranged across four weekdays
- No weekend rota or out-of-hours responsibilities
- 6.6 weeks of annual leave
- Generous CPD funding with encouragement towards further qualifications
- RCVS and relevant professional membership fees covered
- Pension scheme and company sick pay provisions
- Enhanced parental and family leave arrangements
- Annual salary reviews alongside opportunities for career progression
- Staff discounts on veterinary treatments and medications
- Dedicated staff kennelling facilities allowing dogs to accompany employees to work
