Job Description: Our client is seeking a compassionate veterinary nurse to join a welcoming small animal clinic on a permanent, part-time basis. Offering a minimum of 24 hours across three days each week, this position combines hands-on clinical nursing with client support, patient advocacy and opportunities to contribute to the smooth daily operation of the clinic.
The successful candidate will assist with anaesthesia, inpatient monitoring, consultations, diagnostics, medical procedures and surgery while providing clear guidance to pet owners throughout their animal’s care. Additional hours and broader responsibilities may be available for someone interested in expanding their involvement across nearby clinics.
Qualifications Needed:
- Diploma in Veterinary Nursing or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Confidence supporting anaesthesia and monitoring patients throughout procedures
- Warm and professional communication skills when assisting clients and colleagues
- A dependable, compassionate approach to patient care and clinical responsibilities
- Enthusiasm for continued learning and developing broader nursing capabilities
