Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced veterinary nurse to join a busy small animal clinic on a permanent, part-time basis for approximately 25 hours per week. This varied position blends clinical nursing, nurse consultations, reception support and client care, making it ideal for a confident professional who enjoys working with both animals and people. Additional hours may become available as the clinic continues to expand.
Qualifications Needed:
- A recognised veterinary nursing qualification
- Ideally one to two years of experience within small animal practice
- Confidence communicating with clients in a reception or consultation setting
- Ability to work independently while supporting shared clinic priorities
- Experience using Vision software would be advantageous but is not essential
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting veterinarians and nursing colleagues with daily clinical duties
- Supporting nurse consultations and routine patient care when required
- Creating a welcoming and professional experience for pet owners
- Helping reception operate smoothly through accurate front-of-house support
